About:144-Hour Visa-Free Transit

Please confirm that flying into Shanghai and cruising out by ship qualifies for the 144 hr Visa.

We fly from Heathrow to Shanghai in January 2017 for a two day hotel stay before boarding a cruise ship which terminates in Hong Kong. I figure that the 144 hour free transit will cover us as "transits" but need confirmation that this is actually the case.

James, yes, you are qualified for the 144 hour free transit in Shanghai if you travel like that.
