About:72-Hour Visa-Free Transit FAQ

15 hour daytime layover

I will be traveling to Indonesia from the US. On my return flight from Indonesia to the US I have a 15 hour daytime layover. Can I use the 72 hour visa free transit? If so, I will not require a hotel but I will be there lass than 20 hours. I won't need to register at a police station. Right?

Tammy, you are eligible for the 24 direct transit. You don’t need to apply for an entry permit then.
Also, you don’t need to register at a police station.
