About:72-Hour Visa-Free Transit

Cambodian passport holder. can I transit to Pyongyang in Beijing airport without entry to mainland?

If your stopover time is mainland China is not more than 24 hours, you don't need the transit permit.

So that would also apply in my case Alexander ? Two different airlines but stopover is about 5 hours only. That would mean I wouldn't need a transit visa at all ! I do have to collect my luggage and maybe go through customs ? Not sure what the procedure at Beijing airport is.
