About:Shanghai Transportation by Air

Hi, my partner and I are flying in from Seoul to Hongqiao and flying out from Pudong to Melbourne.

The layover is only 4 hours 10 mins, may I know how to travel between the airports and do we have to re-check our baggage usually?
Do we need VISA to travel between Shanghai airports for Malaysia and South Korea passport holder.

Thanks!

I hope you are traveling with the same airline, or your time can be a little tight. After all, the distance between the two airports is almost 60km (37mi). If you can make it, take shuttle bus line 1 (60-70min) or subway line 2 + Maglev (about 55min) to travel between. As long as you hold the through ticket, it is no need to reclaim your baggage.

Just present your onward boarding pass and your passport at the customs, and you will be allowed to get out. Therefore, no visa is needed.
