144 hour VISA free

In March next year I will be visiting China to join a cruise ship in Shanghai and need to know if I can use the 144 hr free transit option on the basis of the information provided below.

I have all the paperwork for confirmed flights, accommodation and cruise booking

The dates are as follows:
i)20th March 2017 arrive in Shanghai Pu Dong Airport at 9.25am
ii)20th & 21st March 2017 Stay in Novotel Shanghai Atlantis hotel for 2 nights
iii)22nd March 2017 join ship in Shanghai and cruise to Japan and South Korea
iv)29th March 2017 ship returns to Shanghai
v) 29th March 2017 Stay in Novotel Shanghai Atlantis hotel for 1 night
vi)30th March 2017 leave Shanghai Pu Dong Airport on 11.00am Flight back to England
