About:72-Hour Visa-Free Transit

USA - Beijing - Hong Kong - USA

We will be in Beijing for less than 72 hours and the rest of our trip will be in Hong Kong. The 72 hours should apply. However I'm concerned because above it stated that "An onward ticket with confirmed seat are needed" and I don't believe that we will have our tickets until we check in with the airline on departure. Will flight itinerary be sufficient? Or will I need to go to the airline while in airport before going to the 72 Hour Special Counter? Also, in Hong Kong a Visa isn't needed correct?

Mel, flight itinerary is sufficient. You may need to print the boarding pass before going to the 72-hour special counter. You don't need the visa for HK.
