About:China Visa

Passport renewal is Visa still valid

In January 2016this year I had a 10 year Visa issued to me on my Canadian passport which was expiring in November 2016. I just had my passport renewed and I am planning a trip back to China in November 2016. Do I need to renew my VISA or is my VISA still valid? I read somewhere that my old passport had to be valid for a year after the VISA date. I need to know if I have to resubmit. thank you

Your visa is still valid. You can take both old and new passports to travel to PRC. In this case, you don’t need to apply for a new visa.

Were u able to use ur 2 passports to visit China? I understand ur old China visa is on the old passport.
