About:China Visa

I am French and decided to take 6 months to 1 year to travel Asia.

Hello there.
In the end, I am spending most of my time in China.
Started May, I made my applications in Hong Kong, the first time I got the 2 entries - 30 days/entry L type. So I spent my 2x30days, went back to HK to apply for the same L type. Got it again.

Now my second L type has expired so again I went to HK to apply for the same one. Only this time, I have been granted with a 1 entry 14 days L type.
Is there a quota of granted type per year ? I suppose if I apply for a new one, I will get the same ? Should I go back to France to apply ?

Necato, as far as I know, there is no so-called quota. I think it is because you do it too frequent, the consular officers give you a short period. If you want to the same entry permit, you are advised to go back to your home country and try to apply for a 6-month or 12-month one.
