transit Visa required or not for Moldova passport holder??

My flight is from Phuket to Moscow, via Shanghai. The stopover is for 4 hours and I want to know if I need a Transit G type. (I'm from Moldova). On the official web site of PRC Embassy from my country is written that I need to apply for a transit G type, that's why I'm not sure about it.
