About:240-Hour Visa-Free Transit

Train only transit

Hi!
I consider the itinerary Hanoi - Kunming - Luang Prabang by train (or bus) with staying 240 hours visafree in Kunming.
I see that Mohan Railway port on the border with Laos is in the scheme, but I don't see the border crossing with Vietnam there.
Does this mean that such trip is not eligible?
Regards!

Georgi, you should be aware that you as a Bulgarian citizen are allowed to travel to China, stay in China and exit China absolutely visa free for a stay of up to 30 days. In other words, you can proceed with your travel plan free from any 240 visa free transit stuff and obstacles. I would like to simplify, your travel to China is quite similar as if you were traveling to Turkey or UK. You need your valid passport and some kind of rough itinerary that you will tell to the Chinese border authorities if asked. So, you can proceed with your travel plans exactly in the way as you have planned originally. Again, visa free transit and similar stuff do not have any authority over you. Have a nice visit to China.

Oh wow! Thank you for letting me know. But then does this mean I can enter from Vietnam and one month later I can come back to Vietnam? The transit rule A-B-C doesn't apply?
