About:China Transit Visa

I will travel from sri lanka to Vancouver via shanghai. 17 hrs transit.

I like to go out .do I need visa. I am Canadian citizen.

Shawn, if so, you don’t need it because you can enjoy the 24 hour direct transit in Shanghai. After arrival at Shanghai airport, you just need to apply for a free temporary stay permit and then you can go out to the city for a visit.
