If you come to Shanghai first, you can visit Yuyuan Garden, Yuyuan Market, the Bund area, Huangpu River Cruise, Nanjing Road for a day trip, then take high speed train to Suzhou, which is a city famous for the elegant gardens, here you are recommended to visit Tiger Hill, Humble Administrator's Garden and Garden of the Master of the Nets. After that, take a high speed train to Wuxi to visit the Yuantouzhu Park, Lingshan Grand Buddha, Three Kingdom City, etc. If your time is ample, you may consider going to a water town nearby. This itinerary is for your reference, you may work out your trip based on your own interest.
