About:72-Hour Visa-Free Transit

Going on a cruise

I hold a Philippine Passport and I plan to go on a cruise in March 2017 which begins in Shanghai (March 7-8) and will also have a day in Xiamen. Do I still need to get a Tourist Visa or will the 72-hour free transit suffice?

Thanks in advance.
