visa on arrival hong kong airport-zhuhai ferry

Question

I heard that last year it was possible to obtain a VOA at Hong Komg airport when taking the ferry from Hong Kong to Zhuhai (so not via Macau/Gongbei). Is this still the case? If so is the VOA office open at any time?

As far as I know, when you arrive at the Gongbei port in Zhuhai, you can apply for the VOA. The office is open between 07:00 and 23:30 every day. Or you can apply for the VOA at Jiuzhougang port which is open between 08:30 and 23:30 every day.
