About:How to Travel to China without a Visa

5 hours layover in Guangzhou

Hi, I'm a Philippine-Passport holder and we will be having a 5 hours stopover in Guangzhou while waiting for our next flight bound for JFK, New York. Do we still need to secure any visa or permit? Thank you so much.

Justine, you can use the 24 hour direct transit in Guangzhou. So you don’t need to apply for an entry permit for your trip in advance.
