About:Hong Kong International Airport

I'm traveling from China to Japan, I have a transit in Hong Kong International Airport.

Do I have to pick up my checked-in luggage in HK and check-in again?

You will transfer from international to international. Your luggage will be delivered to the final destination directly. You needn't claim it or check in again at HKIA. ;)
