About:144-Hour Visa-Free Transit

Do i need Transit Visa? I am PR holder in Canada & citizen of Nepal.

I am planning to fly to Kathmandu by China Eastern via- Toronto- Shanghai Pu Dong ( 2 hrs layover)- Kunming ( 14 hrs layover)- Kathmandu & Vice versa after 20 days in return. Do i need to receive any special transit permit to travel Please reply me as i want to buy the ticket asap.

Hi Bishnu, since your transit time in China is not more than 24 hours, I think you don't need the transit G type permit because you are eligible for the 24-hour direct transit policy. You can double check this with your airline.
