About:144-Hour Visa-Free Transit

Is there any passport validity requirement for visa-free transit?

Is this policy subject to a requirement for e.g. 6 months' passport validity? I would like to transit through Shanghai around 4 months before my passport expires.

I remember there isn't. As long as you leave before your passport expires, it will be fine. You may contact Shanghai Airport Immigration Inspection at 0086-21-51105100 to make it sure.
