About:China Transit Visa

7 - hour Layover in Shanghai travelling from India to USA

I am an Indian, and will have an 7-hour layover in Shanghai between my flights from Kolkata to Los Angels. May I need transit visa during this journey ?

Hi Arindam, you don't need it. In case you want to leave the airport, you can apply for a temporary stay permit upon arrival.
