About:72-Hour Visa-Free Transit FAQ

We have a layover for 22 hours in Guangzhou (China)

Hi,
and we hold Indian Passports? Do we need visa or 24 hour free of charge entry permit ( with temporary stay permit) is allowed?

Please advice.
Thanks
Sonali

Sonali, if the country you will fly to is different from the last country you fly from after staying in Guangzhou for 22 hours, you can enjoy the 24 hour direct transit in Guangzhou. So no entry permit is needed.
If you want to leave the airport, you just need to apply for a temporary stay permit which is free of charge at the immigration office inside the airport.
