About:China Visa Exemption

US Service member stationed in Korea traveling to the United States for leave.

Hello. I have an upcoming trip from Korea to the United States and it has a stop in Shanghai, China. It also has a stop in Shanghai again on the return trip to Korea from the US. What documentation is required if I am only stopping there for a few hours?(less than 4) Or what am I exempt from?

If so, you can enjoy 24-hour direct transit in Shanghai for both legs of your trip. You just need to provide your passport and air ticket, as well as valid entry permit for Singapore.
