About:China Visa Application in USA

I am flying to Chengdu rd trip USA and staying 60 hours. Is entry permit required?

If so, may I apply for 10 year Visa? May I mail in application or must it be hand delivered? Must you wait in line for dropping off application? May someone other than myself drop off and pickup? Thank you.

Ruth, you mean you will fly back to USA after staying for 60 hours in Chengdu? If yes, you won’t be eligible for the 72 hour free transit. You need to apply for an entry permit beforehand.
You can apply for the 10-year one. But you cannot mail your application. You should submit it in person or ask someone to do that for you.
Maybe you need to wait in line if many people go there for the application.
