About:Special Services of Hong Kong Airport Express

Decide if 5 hr layover at HKIA will allow enough time to pop into Kowloon for a quick look see.

I know the Airport Express takes 24 mins/every 12 mins and the shuttle leaves every 12 mins for TST East station.
But how long does the trip from Kowloon station to TST East station take?
I'll REALLY be cutting it short as I want to avail myself of the free in-city check-in after my whirlwind shopping!!
I'm leaving tomorrow so I really need help ASAP!

To be honest, the layover is too short because you need to go back to the airport 2 hours in advance. You are advised to stay at the airport so as not to miss the flight. You can also go shopping at the duty-free shops at HKIA.

Thanks Candi. But I'm already back at the airport after successfully going to town via Airport Express/free shuttle service! 20 mins after landing I was on the train! So sweet! I guess it depends on the time you arrive; my arrival was 4pm - no lines! I did early check - in at Kowloon station so I can go directly to immigration. No worries about 2 hr issue
