About:72-Hour Visa-Free Transit FAQ

USA - Shanghai - Japan

Me and a few friends are traveling from USA to Shanghai, overnight delay and switching airports within Shanghai then departing to Japan. We have valid US passports and departing flight to Japan within about 20 hrs. You don't need visa for Japan for less than 90 days.

Just want to make sure we will be eligible and able to get the 72 hour transit pass?
Thanks.
