About:China Transit Visa

I would like to travel from Singapore to Vancouver , via Chengdu.

Hello,
The layover is 1h50m long. How do we get the 24 h free visa ? It is direct at the airport when we arrive ? Or do we have to ask for it at the embassy ?
Thank you for your answer.

You can just apply for it at the airport when you arrive. You can follow the direction signs to the transit counter and apply for the 24 hour direct transit by proving your passport and tickets.
