About:72-Hour Visa-Free Transit FAQ

Please tell me when to start to count the 72 hours?

Are the 72 hours visa-free transit start from 00:00 the day following the entry date at Xian Airport and Chengdu Airport? Thanks.

Eric, usually, the 72 hours start from 00:00 the day following the entry date at each airport. But if you will stop in both Xian and Chengdu airports, you cannot enjoy the 72 hour free transit because according to the 72 hour policy, you can only stop in one Chinese city.
