72hr Visa Question

Hi,

Does the below itinerary from Sydney to Shanghai to Hong Kong and back to Sydney qualify for 72hr free transit?

Troy, so you will fly from Sydney to Shanghai via HK and then return to HK? If so, you are not eligible for the 72hr free transit.

Hi

No Sydney to Shanghai is direct no stop on the way. But when we leave Shanghai we go to Hong Kong for two days before flying back to Sydney

If so, you can make use of the 72 hour free transit in Shanghai.
