About:Chinese Embassy in U.K.

Can I get a 12 month visa with multiple entry, and what is the name of this type?

I have a UK passport and currently live in South Korea; but the Chinese Embassy here are confused as to which visas for China I am eligible for. Is it possible for me to get a 12 month one with multiple entry, and what is the name of this type? Thank you in advance.

If you enter PRC for tourism purpose, you can apply for a 12-month multiple-entry tourist L type.
