how can i get a Chinese visa and what are the documents needed?

i like to visit china as a individual tourist and i do not have any friend in china.

Hi there! You need to provide those documents: your passport and copy of its data page, the application form, a recently-taken half-length color photo, a letter from local travel agency, invitation letter from Chinese Tourist Bureau, travel itinerary, and recent 3-month bank statement.
