Hi, do South African passport holders require a visa to transit through Chendu and Guangzhou?

The transit time in total is less than 24 hours and I would not leave the airport.
I just need confirmation before I book through China Southern Airlines.

Yes, since you can make the transit in 24 hours, you do not need a visa for that.
