About:Chinese Embassy in Malaysia

Hi,Im in Hong Kong and intend to apply my Chinese visa in Hong Kong.

However, the visa center staff inform me that the first china entry permit application has to be done in Malaysia, which mean that i have to go back to Malaysia for the application? Is that possible to apply 3-6 months tourist L type for China?

Han, yes, you should apply for it at the CVASC in Malaysia. You can either apply for a 3-month L type or 6-month L type. But the consular officers will give you a proper L type according to your travel itinerary. All I can say is that it is possible. Just have a try!
