About:144-Hour Visa-Free Transit

144 hr visa free stay in Shanghai

Hello,
I am travelling from uk to Japan and intend to visit Shanghai for four days i.e. UK, Japan, Shanghai,Japan,UK. Do I qualify for free access?

Leslie, if you fly back to Japan after staying for 4 days in Shanghai, you don’t qualify for the 144 hour free transit. You should fly to a third country or region after staying in Shanghai. If you travel like UK-Japan-Shanghai-UK, you can enjoy free transit in Shanghai.
