How to get from Longyang Rd Station to Andaz Xintiandi, Shanghai?

We would like to catch the Maglev from Pudong International Airport to Longyang Road Station. How far is it from the station to Andaz Xintiandi Hotel? It is easy to get a taxi from the station and what is the best way to buy tickets?

The distance is about 7 miles (11km). You can take metro line 2 from Longyang Road Station to People's Square Station, and change to metro line 1 to South Huangpi Road Station, Exit 2. The metro fare totals CNY 4, and the trip takes about 30 minutes. You can buy the ticket at the automatic ticketing machines, or swipe the Transprotation Smart Card which is available at metro stations, Customer Service Centers, SPD banks, etc.

Or, you can easily take a taxi to the hotel for CNY 35 to 40. Just pay the driver in CNY cash. :)
