Hello. We have around 6-7 hours to spend in Mt Huashan and we like to walk.

We are a couple of 35 and 40 years old. What route would you suggest us to do during these 6-7 hours? We are arriving by HighSpeed train at Huashan North at 09:10 and we have the train back to Xian at 18:40. Many thanks

The most popular hiking route is from Yuquan Yuan to North Peak and then to the rest peaks. But since you have only one day, I am afraid that time is not enough to walk. It takes about 4 hours to get to North Peak from the foot of the mountain, another 4 to 5 hours are needed to visit the rest peaks. But if you don't do any sightseeing and go straight to West Peak, then one hour is needed. Therefore, the entire time for one way hike is around 6 to 7 hours. If you want to save time, you can take cable car up to North Peak, spend more time exploring the other main peaks and then descend by cable car from West Peak.
