As you have two layovers in China, you are not eligible for the 72-hour free transit policy.

If your transit time is under 24h, you can enjoy the direct transit and you can ask for a temporary entry permit at Guangzhou to leave the airport.
The 24h transit allows you 2 or more stops in China, the 72h not.
