Can senior citizen of Hong Kong ride subway free? How?

Please advise how a HK senior citizen (over 65) can benefit from your Preferred fare? Do I still need to buy a token to gain entrance to the metro?

Yes, you can ride the metro free. But you need to show your identity card before boarding. You needn't buy a token. :)
