Cruise Ship, Busan to Shanghai to Hong Kong

I am traveling in October, 2016 on the Diamond Princess from Tokyo to Busan to Shanghai to Hong Kong. We are scheduled to be in Shanghai for 11 hours. Will this qualify for Direct Transit. Thank you.

Alice, because you will enter and exit by the same cruise ship, the cruise may require you to apply for a visa for your transit in Shanghai. So you may need to apply for a transit visa or tourist visa in advance. You’d better confirm this with the cruise company.
