British Passport holder with Jordanian nationality need to travel to the PRC with my family

I am a British Passport holder with Jordanian nationality ( have an ID and national number ),my wife is Jordanian and my son have dual nationality ,I live in Amman with my family. I been offered a job in china as a British and need to travel to the PRC with my family (wife and son) is it possible to apply for the Z visa from Amman.
