Please advice if I can continue my journey by train or coach to Meizhou on the same day or should I stay overnight in Jieyang or Shantou to catch the early train or coach the next morning?Thank You.

According to your arrival time, you can take a direct bus to Meizhou from the airport on the same day. After 15:10, the buses depart at 15:30, 18:00, and 21:30. The trip takes about 2 hours. The fare is CNY 70. You can buy the bus ticket at the Ticketing Window near Gate 4 of the terminal.
