we are married traditionally but not legally, have been together for three years and have a new born son together, my partner is an Australian citizen and so is my new born son, and he works for the W hotels company in Wuhan, and we wish to join him in a few months time is this possible and if yes how do I proceed with my visaThanks for your time

It is possible, but I cannot assure that, you can have a try. You mean you don’t have marriage certificate, right? If yes, it is difficult. The first step is to prepare the relevant materials: passport and its copy, the application form, a half-length color photo, an invitation letter from your partner and copies of his passport and residence permit in PRC, and your baby’s birth certificate as well as other documents required by the consular officers. And then submit the application to the embassy of PRC to apply for the S type.
