About:72-Hour Visa-Free Transit

third entry

Hi, I'm going to travel from Frankfurt - Shanghai - Hongkong - Beijing - Ulaanbaatar - Shanghai (via Beijing) - Frankfurt with my German passport. Unfortunately I only got a "2-entries-visa" for my trip! My last stay in Shanghai will be no longer than 72h - can I use this option here?
Thanks for help!

Katlin, you are not eligible for 72h free transit for your last stay in Shanghai because you will also transit in Beijing. However, for your first entry to Shanghai, it's possible that you can enjoy the 144h free transit policy if the stay is not more than 144 hours. For the first stay in Beijing, if you only stay for no more than 72 hours, it's also possible to enjoy the 72h free transit there.
