bank certificate for the requirements in securing a chinese visa?

my bank dont want to issue me a bank certificate because it is a newly opened account it was less than one month old would it be valid if i just photocopy my passbook?

Rod, I don’t think a photocopy of your passbook can be used as your financial standing proof. Usually, it should be the recent 6-month passbook, but you just open an account less than one month. It’s too risky.
You can provide your work/income certificate such as salary slip as the financial support proof.
