seccuring a Z visa

I am currently in the application process at EF China, but am concerned about eligibility requirements. I was diagnosed with breast cancer in 2013 and will be taking medication until 2018 for prevention. I have also been treated for depression. Will the mental health diagnosis exclude me from getting a Z type?

Thanks,
Jane

Jane, the relevant regulations stipulates the applicant should be in good health. Thus, the mental health diagnosis may have some influence. But as for the result, only when you try to apply for it can you know it will work or not.

Dear Jane, I just saw your post and want to let you know as a professional doctor, I would say that it won't be a problem for you to obtain or secure the Z type. If you are already in China and you go for the medical check up, they won't asses the mental issue, not until you start screaming or talk Jebrish in the hospital ;) You will be just fine, what you have to do is, concentrate on your breast treatment, just try to have a nice time and be happy !!!!
Wish you best of luck and a happy healthy life.

Regards,
Ham Maister!!!!
