About:72-Hour Visa-Free Transit

72 hour stopover

Leaving cruise ship in Shanghai, March 2017, stopover in city for up to 72 hours before flying from there to Manchester - is a visa required please?

Janet, if the country you came from by cruise ship is different from UK, you can enjoy the 144 hour free transit in Shanghai. And then no entry permit is required.
