About:240-Hour Visa-Free Transit

144 hour free Visa Cruise ships

traveling in and out of the waters of China from Japan areas does that prevent you from using the 144 hr free transit? If so, could we just not get off the ship in Shanghai as we are there less than a day?

Wayne, if you enter by cruise ship and leave by the same ship, the cruise company may require you to apply for an entry permit. So you’d better contact with the cruise and confirm that.
