About:Chinese Embassy in Singapore
I'm holding a single entry 30 days validity. If I want to extend 15 days more, can it be done.

Yes, Cindy. After you enter China, you can extend it at the local exit and entry administration seven days before the stay duration ends.

Yes, you should pay some money for the extension. The fee is about CNY 168.
