Christian, she should first get her degree notarized by the notary public, and then get it authenticated by the ministry of foreign affairs of South Africa.
Finally, get the degree attested by the embassy of PRC. She needs to provide those documents including the application form, her degree document, and her passport and copy of its data page as well as other documents the consular officers consider necessary.

Hi August,
Can the attestation be done in the Consular office in the various cities? I have similar situation and is base in Cape Town, so wonder if I can get the documents attest in Cape Town instead of heading to Pretoria where the Embassy is actually located
Appreciate your advise
