About:144-Hour Visa-Free Transit

144 hour visa leaving to the Philippines

Hello i want to travel from Japan to Shanghai stay 144 hours and then head to the Philippines. Since the Philippines is not on the list allowed to use this free transit will i be allowed to fly to the Philippines after my stay? I am sorry im confused by the information on the website

Claire, you are an American, right? If so, you can use the free transit policy even though your next destination is the Phlilippines. Philippines is not the list just indicates that Filipino citizens cannot enjoy the 144h free transit policy.
