Travel for a week after coming to China on Z visa

Hello, I will be coming to China on a Z type soon. I'd like to meet friends for a week in another city. I understand the Z type is single entry but will I get stopped if I fly to different cities within PRC?

It doesn’t matter. You can use the work Z type to visit friends in another city. But you need to make sure that you will apply for the residence permit within 30 days after your entry. Otherwise, your work Z type may expire.
