About:China Visa

naturalized US citizen born in Hong kong to get Chinese visa

Can a naturalized US citizen born in Hong Kong get a Chinese tourism L type to mainland? If so, what documents are needed to prepare for submission for the first time visit?

Yes, it’s possible for you to get it in HK.
You need to provide those documents including your passport and copy of its data page, the application form, a recently-taken passport-sized color photo, your residence permit in HK, and proof of your transportation and accommodation arrangement.

Can we get the Chinese entry permit overseas at Chinese embassies in the US? If so, what documents needed? Or we have to go back to Hong Kong to get the entry permit?
